Hello,
Effective October 24, 2023, we will calculate the referral fee on the offer price that you provide, instead of the purchase price paid by customers. This change will apply for all transactions where Amazon calculates tax.
We already calculate referral fees on the offer price for sellers who use the VAT Calculation Service and for transactions where Amazon doesn’t calculate tax. We’ll now be doing the same for all transactions where Amazon calculates taxes, which includes marketplace facilitator (such as, VAT on e-commerce) transactions.
We will update the Amazon Services Europe Business Solutions Agreement, to reflect this change. Your continued use of selling services after October 24, 2023, constitutes your acceptance of this change.
